“My experience with COVID-19 has been minimal with the exception of several friends who got it, and are experiencing hardship. Some acquaintances have passed away, but all my close friends are okay, but it is hard anyway. My wife is a doctor/scientist and she is lucky to work from home organizing her research, and we've been together more than usual and it is also a very good experience. I haven’t been able to paint that much because emotionally I am not in the right place, that is why this painting came out a little chaotic, I was thinking of the ‘frontline’ people and first responders, how they didn’t ask for this and with all the courage in the world are making our world better, even if they risk their lives. I am waiting for the moment where I can paint more calmed images.”
