Gloria Pacis

Gloria Pacis (born 1953) is a first generation Filipino American from Seattle, Washington. She graduated from the University of Washington in 1976 with a BFA in Painting. Her credits include Stage Design and Production Art (highlights include Intiman Theater, ACT Theater, PNTA).As a working artist residing in Jersey City, Gloria’s work focuses on inner human existence, based on pictures taken on her phone as she walks through a city. She is fascinated by the untold stories that come into focus when a moment is captured in an instant from their busy lives.
Her work has been exhibited at the Henry Art Gallery, Wing Luke Museum, University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Center Art Museum. Her work has been exhibited in Seattle, New York and San Francisco.
