C.G. Coleman

C.G. ColemanChristopher G. Coleman is a multifaceted artist with talents ranging from freehand illustration and traditional painting to graphic design and computer graphics. In 1994, he received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at the University of Connecticut with a primary focus of study in fine art, illustration, and graphic design. In 2004, he received a Master of Science from NYU in advanced design applications. Chris found employment were he could use his skills in all areas of his education primarily in publishing.

After living in New York City for a year, Chris moved to Hoboken, New Jersey, in 1998 and discovered the charms of small city living within a Metropolitan area. There he participated in several art-related activities over the years. He has shown at the annual Artists’ Studio Tour and attended art classes and figure drawing sessions at the Liquid Lounge, B.A.M.A. Galleries, Paul Vincent Studios, and Proto Gallery.

Chris’s love of art and Hoboken has never wavered. He continues his involvement with the mile square city with the recently updated HobokenArts Web Site. Taking on the roll of Director of the online gallery he hopes to utilize its powerful new platform to handle online sales of artists’ work and expand the exposure of Hoboken artists as well as bring greater regional attention to the arts in Hudson County, New Jersey.
