Discover who is behind the amazing art available at HobokenArts.com! Join us live on Zoom next Thursday, November 19th, from 7 to 9 pm EST for an evening with a few of the artists who are featured on HobokenArts™ Online Gallery. Moderated by HobokenArts Director Christopher Coleman, you will meet five artists including Raisa Nosova, Anne Harkness, Elena Samarsky, Marsha Heller, and Cheryl Gross. Each artist will offer a short talk introducing themselves as artists, how they work, and open the doors to their studios with up-and-close views of their artwork.

This is an exclusive opportunity to learn how some of the artists featured on HobokenArts create their work. Stop in to say “hi” and listen to each artist talk about how they became artists, what they are working on now, and what you can expect to see from them in the future. Perhaps even uncover a secret technique used in their process as we pull back the curtain in this direct conversation with the artists. After each talk Chris will field questions from attendees so you can find out anything that wasn’t covered or that was on your mind!

Anne is a contemporary artist living and working in Mooresville, North Carolina. With her art, she seeks to capture a distinct point of view, often discovering some unexpected beauty. Anne focuses on the importance of line and shape in her work as a means of giving her compositions a strong foundation to reveal the many layers within each piece. Part of her process is drawing the subject then finding so much joy in the lines that she just has to leave them in the painting.
