“CAPTURED MOMENTS,” an exhibition of traditional and fabric mediums by two artists, will be open to the public from Friday, May 18 to Saturday, June 16, 2018 at the hob’art gallery, Monroe Art Center, 720 Monroe Street, Hoboken. The artists, Lily Zane and Donna L. O’Grady, experiment with oil painting and fabric based cut & stitched art. A reception to meet the artists will be held on Friday, June 1st, 6-8pm.

“CAPTURED MOMENTS,” accurately describes the compatibility of the two artists who are part of the hob’art gallery’s upcoming exhibition. In their pieces they depict memories of moments in time, places they’ve been, and conversations they’ve heard. The thread of abstracted realities and ‘other worldliness’ is immediately apparent although each artist executes her ideas with a different technique. Lily Zane will exhibit her fabric and stitch artwork, and Donna L. O’Grady will exhibit her oil paintings on tin and canvas.

For more information regarding the exhibit please contact Lily Zane or Donna L. O’Grady. Gallery information can be obtained on the hob’art website: or from the Director, France Garrido. Free parking is available on the side of the building on 7th Street, between Jackson & Monroe Streets.
